INSTAGRAM AND FACEBOOK PRODUCT PLACEMENTS
Product placement on social media refers to giving exposure to your products or services.
It is usually done so smartly that the viewer doesn't realize it's an ad.

One of the easiest ways to implement product placement on social media, (eg. Instagram and Facebook) is to reach out to influencers or celebrities to work on a collaboration for your product or services.
In this year business owners are putting more focus on this!
Before this was more for B2C thing,in this year B2B sector are part of this too.
“Product placement eg. on Instagram and Facebook is the method of hidden advertising when the product is implemented into the posts, videos, or stories in influencers accounts.”
Sure, there is no reason why you cannot give product placement a go yourself - you need just a creative mind and effective plan.

Often, I have heard that "In social media, our company's product images are a little bad, but if you go our company's website, we have better pictures. And in real life, the pictures are really good..!”
So, my advice is that focus on quality once again.
Tokmanni (a Finnish discount store chain) also doesn't put up bad pictures or vids of products that cost up to 2 euros. So why would you do that?
Cheap products and services can be marked as attractive too, because you want to get your target audience to buy!
It doesn’t matter if they are students or others who are always looking for discounts.
Human eyes always want to see visually beautiful images.
Tip two: try to avoid product placement that practically “screams shop me now asap”.
It is better if the product is not a main feature of the image.

SME entrepreneur
In addition, as an SME entrepreneur, it is good to think about the number of products and services on social media product placement pics and vids.
If you bring out too many services or products, then the customer cannot decide which would be best for him/her. Do not add too much info. (for one pic, video)
The worst obstacle is to decisions is confusion.

Product placement is nothing new
As I told you last week in my IG post, product placement is nothing new.
Plus, when Kim Kardashian wears a fancy jacket, 200 million followers see it!
Then there are also social media influencers, those who have hundreds of thousands of followers so their influence can be also massive, boom!
In addition, there are much smaller influencers that should not be forgotten either.
You just need to know if the influencer fits your company's brand. In addition, do a little background research.
It is worth looking at previous recommendations about the person.
Likewise, you should ask exactly how the implementation will take place.
I have seen that many influencers share their clients Instagram's photos their own "private" social media pages, and force all to like the images.
(This way, unfortunately, many entrepreneurs get a lot of fake likes, followers & comments) If you do not follow these “support page” rules, administrators a.k.a influencers will kick you right away from their pages. Many clients lose their money without getting the right value!

Therefore, it is worth thinking about what is valuable: Are you going to invest at least 300-500 euros (in a month) in marketing without a clear target group?
For this reason, it is a good idea to follow your company’s marketing plan to avoid mistakes.
Marketing recognizability
Use the service's own marking tool ("Paid partnership with user XX") if possible. In addition, right at the beginning of the text field, type Ad or "In Commercial Cooperation" and which company is marketing (for example, "Ad with [Company]).
In some situations, the official name of the company is not used in consumer marketing, but consumers are more familiar with the company by another commercial name, such as a brand.
In this case, instead of the official name of the company, the publication may use a commercial name that identifies whose account is marketed.
It is the responsibility of both the company and the influencer to ensure that the commercial purpose of influencer marketing is reflected and that surreptitious advertising is not practiced.
Marketing must stand out from other content so that the consumer knows when it comes to commercial influence. This should also be taken into account in the story sections of Instagram and Facebook, for example.
If you are more interested in the topic, I recommend that you read the Consumer Protection Act in more detail so that you can get deeper into the topic.
If you have any questions on this topic, I will be happy to answer back to you!
I hope the beginning of 2021finds you safe and well.
